U-First! for Front-line Workers and their Supervisors:
This one-day workshop provides front-line workers and their supervisors with an understanding of how Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias affect behaviour and uses the U-First! wheel as a tool for client care discussion and problem-solving. U-First! Training for Supervisors:
This two-day, skills enhancing workshop is designed specifically for regulated healthcare workers, supervisors of staff who provide care to people with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. It provides the strategies and tools to effectively coach/mentor staff in the core competencies and best practices approaches using U-First!, 416-256-3010 ext. 228 or borka.babic@ocsa.on.ca


U-First! for People Working with Clients/Residents with Dementia:
This one-day workshop will train Activation, Recreation, Transportation and Day Program Staff in U-First!  In this session, you will learn to decipher behaviours and identify possible positive approaches in responding. Me and U-First! – Free eight module e-learning on-line: Me and U-First! is a flexible and user-friendly internet-based free course designed specifically for front-line caregivers such as Personal Support Workers, family members, volunteers and others interested in learning how to better understand and care for people with Alzheimer Disease and other dementias.  Click on the link above to go to the Me & U-First! page.
